It's hard to better old-fashioned goodness. Yes, there are so many fancy ways to make coffee these days, and so very many fancy kinds of coffee with so very many fancy things to add to it.
I kinda like listening to my vintage coffee pot percolating as it brews. And I kinda like watching the coffee as it perks up in the glass knob at the top of the pot. And I really, really like a big mug of hot coffee with sugar and milk. Nothing fancy ~ just old-fashioned home-style goodness.
Newest is not always best.
Life is good.
