You know the old saying that "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb"? Well, I'm hoping that the latter part is true. March has been a month of battles for me, and I'm ready to move on to better days.
So I decided to make this morning a small celebration: I would use my "orphan" Royal Winton Grimwades breakfast set to start the day. I filled the pot with British Breakfast tea and put cream in the creamer. I made crispy buttered toast, and filled the small bowl with honey to spread on it. Then I curled up in bed with my breakfast and a book. It was lovely.
And I thought that I should do this much more often. Every day should have a holiday moment hidden in it somewhere.
Life is good.
