I intended to go to the garden earlier than I did this evening (before the mosquitoes become completely vicious) but you know what they say about good intentions (and those skeeters were definitely relentless). In any case, I was rewarded when I went because my neighbor's cat came by to visit me. Spike is a precious feline friend. He's welcome in my garden any time.
And he helped me plant seeds: yellow wax beans and cucumbers. I'm sure his assistance will bring as much good luck to the garden as he brought good cheer to me.
